About w A24

My name is Marc Winhofer and I founded the interior design studio w A24 in 2024.

Here is a little insight into what motivated me:

The passion for the hotel industry began early on and shaped my career. The idea of offering people an unforgettable stay motivated me to pursue a career in the industry.

The professions in a hotel are versatile and varied. I learned what it means to know the needs of the guests and to constantly strive for excellence in every detail. So I was always striving not just to do a job, but to create an atmosphere that welcomed all guests. I quickly learned that it's the little things that make the biggest difference, such as personal attention and striving for perfect service. This was quickly followed by various jobs in upscale hotels in Germany and abroad.

All these experiences laid the foundation for my later journey into interior design. I was able to follow various renovation projects in the hotel industry and was also involved in some of them. During this time, I developed a deeper understanding of materials, colors, shapes and haptics and quickly learned how important it is to use the right materials in the right place and to understand how to care for them in order to guarantee longevity. In my free time, I traveled a lot and discovered my love of architecture. I was particularly inspired by modernism and post-modernism. So in 2021 I decided to complete a degree course in Interior Design. After successfully graduating from the STF in Zurich in 2023, I founded the studio w A24 the following year.
