In 1990, Günther Marxer founded a company for commercial kitchens and refrigeration technology in Ruggell. The company, which became a public limited company in 1994, has grown steadily since then, making it necessary to move to larger premises in 1995. Today, Marxer Gastrochem AG operates in Liechtenstein and neighboring Eastern Switzerland for clients from industry and commerce, private customers and the state.

Another important milestone for Marxer Gastrochem AG was the move to the new building at Industriering 7 in Ruggell in October 2011. There is a year-round exhibition at the company site in Ruggell, where the product range can be experienced first-hand.
