In 2020, Sägerei Bucher AG took an innovative step into the future. We have built a wood-fired power generation plant. The company's waste wood, around 3700 cubic meters of wood chips, is processed into electricity and heat. Part of the approximately one million kilowatt hours (kWh) of electricity is used for our own needs, the rest is fed into the electricity grid. The additional two million kWh of heat generated is used to operate the drying chamber.

We are a well-equipped sawmill and have specialized in the core business of cutting spruce and fir wood. Cutting timber for customers is another mainstay of the business and our sawmill is flexible enough to meet your requirements. Thanks to our good infrastructure, we are also able to process and deliver orders received at short notice on time.
