Brockehus Sarganserland

• Our Brockehus Sarganserland was founded in May 1992 by the Women's Working Group Sarganserland (FAGS).

 

• We started out in an old farmhouse in Sargans. Right from the start, our Brockehus Sarganserland was very popular. Two years later, following the demolition of the farmhouse, we moved to Mels into a purple hall, where we had 700 m² of space available for receiving and selling goods. We adopted the color purple for all our advertising, from brochures to delivery trucks.

• For various reasons, but mainly due to lack of space, we had to move again in 2000. We were able to buy two halls, once again in Sargans. Since August 2000, we have been located in the Tiefriet industrial area in Sargans, where we offer our customers a wide range of products in a space covering around 1000 m².

 

• With the move to the new halls in 2000, we also established the SYMBOLA Foundation. This foundation supports people in the Sargans region who are unable to finance initial or further vocational training with their own resources.
