EARLY PROMOTION

All nursery courses for children aged 3 to 6 aim to promote the holistic development of children before they start kindergarten and during the kindergarten years. In an active environment, the child develops the joy of movement, social skills, language skills, the ability to concentrate, self-awareness and frustration tolerance. They learn to separate from their caregivers for a certain period of time and to fit into a social group of children. The insight that the parents gain into the theater pedagogical work during the semester games gives them the opportunity to reflect on what they have learned at home, sing, tell stories and share what they have experienced in the theater with their child.

Theater education includes both artistic and pedagogical aspects. People of all ages learn the basics of theater, how to express their thoughts, feelings and desires and how to develop their performance and social skills. All the senses are addressed and the body and voice are trained. The content of the theater pedagogical work is rooted in the everyday, culturally oriented living environment of the participants. All participants can show and share their abilities and deficits and discover the unknown and the new. Means of expression and tools such as language, movement, dance, music, facial expressions, rituals, make-up, props, costumes, set construction and lighting are formalized and aestheticized. Theater pedagogy is therefore a broadly diversified school of aesthetics.

Theatrical education work is process-oriented. The path is the goal. Ideas are tested, evaluated, modified and condensed with a view to a presentable end result. This process requires creative decisions and solutions. The result is a joint project that has a collaborative character but is supported by individual achievements.

Theater education is biography work. Playful and theatrical processes are remembered for a lifetime due to their emotional anchoring. They leave a trail for the future and are part of a successful search for meaning. Theater education promotes the development of personality. Through enjoyable play, it promotes self-knowledge and self-confidence of the individual, with the aim of openly experiencing others as partners and as members of a community.
