The Alte Post in Schuders is a cosy, rustic and stylish mountain inn at 1270 meters above sea level, with wonderful views of the Rätikon massif (Grisons Dolomites) and Prättigau.

The mountain inn can be reached by car and post bus via the world-famous Salginatobel bridge. Various hiking and biking routes also lead to the Alte Post and offer opportunities for excursions in all directions.

Gerti and Markus Hitz will be happy to welcome you in the cozy Schuderserstübli (seating up to 16 people). The beautiful rustic dining room seats up to 40 people. This room is also very suitable for seminars, company and family events. In good weather  a covered pergola and a wonderful terrace invite you to linger.

From the kitchen (Tyrolean cuisine and regional specialties) you will be spoiled with multi-course menus on request and reservation.

For overnight stays we offer 4 cozy double rooms with shower/WC and a tourist camp or family room with 12 beds and  shower.

In general, we recommend a reservation and are happy to accept it by phone or email. We also welcome groups of 8 people or more on request during the week outside official opening hours.

Opening hours: Saturday - Sunday from 09:00 - 18:00. Open until the end of December for private parties only. The normal restaurant business will remain closed until then.
