Kiley - Alp Steinboden

The Kiley farm has been around for many years. The farm is located in Schwenden in the beautiful Diemtigtal in the Bernese Oberland at 1365m above sea level. Our farm (year-round operation) includes the Steinboden Alp, 2 km above Kiley. The first generation Freiburghaus leased the farm. Since 2004, the farm has been owned by the new generation Freiburghaus.  The cessation of livestock farming in January 2019 creates space for new ideas. As our farm has an open stable suitable for horses with a large run. The horses have direct access to the extensive alpine pastures. Our horses are also allowed out on the pastures every day in winter.
We have been summering foreign horses on our alp since 2015.
