The Hotel Oberländerhof has always been a family business. The beautifully preserved Art Nouveau building, constructed in 1900, has been owned and run by the family for 80 years. The family-run hotel has been in its third generation since 2010 and is managed by Bernhard and Jasmin Gerber.

It has everything our guests need: a wonderful location right on Lake Brienz with magnificent views into the distance, regional cuisine, well-kept hotel rooms, and long-standing employees who take care of our guests' well-being.

Stroll along the lake promenade or walk through the picturesque old village center and admire the richly carved houses. Round off your hiking tour in the Bönigen/Interlaken region with a fine meal at our hotel, take a break during your motorcycle or bicycle tour—whatever the reason, everyone is welcome here.

We are happy to spoil you with our breakfast buffet in the Bellavista restaurant. Enjoy the start of the day with a wonderful view of the mountains and lake. The Bellavista is a non-smoking restaurant. However, smokers are also welcome as guests in our smoking room.

Every day, our restaurant serves traditional, home-style cooking with seasonal and regional specialties such as "Suurä Mockä" or our popular game specialties in the fall. During the warmer months, our terrace is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Enjoy coffee and cake or our cold platter with fresh cheese and dried meat for afternoon tea.

Are you planning an event?

The restaurant is also suitable for groups of up to 25 people (exclusive hire possible) if you are planning a birthday, wedding, christening, or company dinner, for example. We would be happy to advise you individually on your event with suitable menu suggestions.
