ACTIVITIES

We specialize in importing and distributing equipment for setting up and maintaining crops, agriculture, market gardening, arboriculture and viticulture. The machines come from 10 different countries  We import 16 different brands each comprising an extensive and well-rounded product range.

Most of our suppliers are independent manufacturers with whom we have privileged and direct relationships. This is a great asset for responsiveness, enabling us to adapt to the market, according to demands and fluctuation, which has been evolving rapidly in recent years.

TARGET CLIENTARY

Agricultural production, in field crops, cereals, corn, beets, potatoes, is our most important customer base. The livestock, viticulture and arboriculture sectors also have a good place.

The green space, commune, landscaping and golf courses sectors are a small part of our business.

CROP PROTECTION

As a result of its history and the acquisition of knowledge over the years, the company is strongly positioned in the spraying technique in field crops, including personal advice to each operator wishing to do so.

INFORMATICS

Mastery of computer technology, especially on sprayers, fertilizer spreaders and seeders, is also an asset for selling and monitoring machines that are becoming increasingly "high-tech" and electronically managed. Since 2017, we've been running training and refresher courses in this field, in French and German.

MECHANICAL Crop Care

Historically, the team that founded Alphatec had a great deal of knowledge of crop hoeing acquired from the HARUWY company, renowned for its versatile machines. With these techniques taking over a large share of the current market in Switzerland, we can easily accompany farmers in this process, offering our agronomic support and a wide choice of innovative machines. Whether for grassland, traditional crops, organic crops or perennial crops, we always have one or more solutions.

DIRECT AND SIMPLIFIED SEEDING

Another passion of the company is undoubtedly direct seeding, a technology that saves time and money for farmers. This technology is not yet well known or mastered by many manufacturers in agricultural equipment.

The major equipment manufacturers in Europe only offer a few of these machines, as the sale of spare parts is declining (less wear and tear) and horsepower is also dropping significantly (fewer tractors). We are convinced that the future will involve this simplification of work.

Currently, after more than 24 years of sales we are feeling the effects in Switzerland, but still little in neighboring countries, which have to cope with soil problems that are too degraded by monoculture production systems. This technique is used on a large scale on the American continent, from North to South.
