History

In 1965, Gil Bonnet, a watchmaker and dressmaker with a diploma from the Technicum watchmaking school in Le Locle, originally from the Neuchâtel Jura region, landed in Sierre. He immediately fell under the spell of the Valais region and decided to settle here, working for 4 years in a local store. After seeking financing, he opened his store in December 1969 at Route de Sion 4 in Sierre.
In February 1974, he moved to the town center at Av. Général-Guisan.
In 1991, he moved to larger premises next door and completely transformed the jewelry store.
In August 1996, his son Alain joins him after completing a 4-year apprenticeship as a watchmaker and dressmaker at the Technicum watchmaking school in La Chaux-de-Fonds.
In January 2002, creation of the Gil Bonnet et Fils SA company name.

Two watchmaker-dressers are on hand to guarantee optimum service and carry out all your watch, clock and jewelry repairs.

We repair not only the watches for which we are dealers, but also any other watches as well as older models.

Your clocks are also in good hands with us. For example, Neuchâtel clocks, regulators and morbiers no longer hold any secrets for us.

As far as jewelry is concerned, we carry out all your soldering, ring sizing and transformations. We collaborate with a design workshop for your special requests.

On request, a detailed estimate is made before each repair.
