OUR ETHICS

"Well-being and listening": it's crucial for every patient to find themselves in a reassuring atmosphere, to be the focus of attention in order to optimize therapeutic success and establish an atmosphere of trust. "Prevention and conservation": our biological capital is precious, the result of thousands of years of evolution. Its conservation via good prevention and the search for minimally invasive therapies is of the utmost importance.

HOW TO DO

Training at Geneva's Clinique Universitaire de Médecine Dentaire (CUMD) provides dentists with a solid practical and theoretical foundation for maintaining a service worthy of Swiss Quality. Every member of the Swiss Society of Odontologists (SSO) has a duty to keep up to date via a wide range of continuing education courses.

"Quality": Our equipment and products are of Swiss origin. Their quality is maintained by regular monitoring and renewal. "Hygiene": Sterilization and disinfection of our devices are taken very seriously to prevent the transmission of infections. "Modernity": State-of-the-art equipment optimizes the comfort and effectiveness of our treatments.

OUR HISTORY

It was in 1990 that Dr. Otto Christen founded the dental practice at Avenue Saint-François 2. Designed from the ground up and optimized by a wealth of professional experience, it promotes quality care. Sharing his predecessor's philosophy, after a few years as an assistant, Méd. dent. Vincent Sierro took up the torch in 2021. He brings a breath of fresh air while maintaining the traditions he holds dear.

Concerning Urgencies

In principle, each dentist receives his or her own emergencies, so please don't hesitate to contact us directly on 027/323.60.66 during our opening hours. We will do our utmost to see you as soon as possible to relieve your stress.

If we are unable to answer your call, there is an on-call system set up by the Société Valaisanne des Médecins-Dentistes. In the Sedun area, the on-call dentist's number is 079/520.11.22. He or she will be available from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., 7 days a week.

The Secours Valaisans on-call dentistry service provides 24-hour information on the opening hours of dental surgeries on 0900 558 143 (CHF 0.50 per call + CHF 1.00 per minute - call rate from a landline network).

Emergencies are by definition pathological situations in which diagnosis and treatment must be carried out as quickly as possible. It will therefore be a service that treats pain, trauma and dental infections only. The dentist's aim will be to provide relief without necessarily undertaking "definitive" treatments.
