Spitex Regio Tannzapfenland

Spitex Regio Tannzapfenland is an organization that was formed in 2018 through a merger of the three Spitex organizations Spitex-Verein Münchwilen-Eschlikon, Spitex Tannzapfenland, and Spitex Sirnach. At the beginning of 2021, the municipality of Rickenbach joined Spitex Regio Tannzapfenland, followed by the municipality of Wängi at the beginning of 2022. It is a non-profit organization with around 80 qualified employees. They support people so that they can remain in their familiar surroundings at home for as long as possible.

The services provided by Spitex Regio Tannzapfenland are aimed at sick people of all ages who need help and care, and enable older people in particular to live in familiar surroundings for as long as possible. This requires care as well as prevention, support, advice, and assistance with everyday tasks and housekeeping. Together, they have a preventive effect and form an essential pillar of the basic provision of the health and social system.
