Buddhistisches Zentrum Vairochana

We are a Buddhist meditation center and offer meditation courses and events on various topics from everyday life and Buddhist mind training.

The Buddhist monk Gen Kelsang Lachpa is the main teacher at the Buddhist Vairochana Center. He has been studying, meditating and practicing Buddhism for 25 years and has accumulated a rare wealth of experience and knowledge in a five-year silent retreat. He has been the Resident Teacher at the Buddhist Vairochana Center in Sitterdorf since February 2008. Here and at other locations in Eastern Switzerland, he gives lectures, leads study programs, day courses, weekend events, retreats and is a guest speaker at various venues.

Thanks to his loving nature and wisdom, his teachings are very clear and understandable for everyone. He presents the Buddha's teachings in a way that provides practical inspiration and support in our daily lives, showing us how to overcome suffering and find an inexhaustible source of happiness in our hearts
