Preventive eye examinations from the age of 40
Regular preventive eye examinations are essential to safeguard your vision and maintain your quality of life. Early detection of insidious diseases can optimize the course of the disease and prevent serious problems.
In particular in the case of glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration (AMD) or diabetic retinal changes, early detection is of great importance for the course of the disease.
Cataract diagnosis and surgery
The complete preliminary examination and follow-up care is offered on site. We attach great importance to individual consultation and responding to the wishes of our patients.
Cataract surgery is performed personally at the Hirslanden Klinik Linde by Dr. Phil Kaeser in collaboration with an experienced, well-coordinated team.
Post-cataract treatment (YAG laser capsulotomy) is carried out in the practice in Solothurn.
Diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma
The range of services includes the entire spectrum of glaucoma diagnostics and conservative glaucoma therapy.
Preventive measures for narrow-angle glaucoma using YAG laser (iridotomy) are carried out in the practice.
Diagnosis and treatment of retinal diseases
Fundus photography and modern diagnostics using OCT (optical coherence tomography) are available in our practice for early detection and follow-up examinations.
Age-related macular degeneration
The follow-up examinations for AMD are carried out in full on site.
Intravitreal injections (IVT, injection therapy) are carried out personally at the Hirslanden Klinik Linde by Dr. Phil Kaeser in collaboration with an experienced, well-coordinated team.
Orthoptics / Vision School
We have been offering orthoptic examinations for children and adolescents since May 2020.
The vision school examines and diagnoses strabismus, eye movement disorders and visual impairments. The cooperation of the eyes and spatial vision are checked. In children in particular, visual acuity is determined and, if necessary, spectacle correction is determined and/or amblyopia is treated.
