Technology
Surface design ensures individuality ...
The attractive appearance of a room is largely determined by the design of the wall surfaces. An attractive appearance is just as important as good durability in everyday use.
A wide variety of materials and processing techniques are available for designing a wall surface.
We provide you with expert information on the specific qualities of the individual materials (gypsum, lime and clay plasters, synthetic resin, glass fleece, coatings, stucco), as well as the various effects of the surface design (filling techniques, painting techniques)
Plaster
This is what matters ...
Once the house is built, it is plastered. Inside and out. It is easy to forget that the plaster also performs important technical tasks in addition to its visual appearance. Inside, it serves as a buffer for humidity, while outside it is directly exposed to all weather influences such as heat, cold, frost, rain, wind and sun and protects the house.
For centuries, plaster has been made predominantly from inorganic mineral components.
This has remained the case to this day. The respective binder makes the big difference.
Marble, quartz and limestone as well as sands are basic components of every plaster. The choice of the appropriate binder, such as gypsum, lime, cement, potassium silicate, silicone resin or polymer resin, gives the plaster its desired properties depending on the requirements.
This results in gypsum and lime plasters for interiors and lime-cement or cement plaster, silicate, silicone resin and synthetic resin plasters for exteriors.
We are there for you to ensure that the plaster with the right properties is used professionally in the right place on the house.
Insulation
Ssleeping bag for buildings...
In the construction industry, insulation means sealing against air, sound, heat, cold, moisture and also electricity.
Insulation is a way of insulating a building.
This external thermal insulation can be compared to a warm garment, a warming envelope, in which the building is wrapped.
But beware: such cladding is not always easy and problem-free.
Stucco
It's time to change a few things ...
The word comes from the Italian stucco, which means a type of mortar made from lime and finely crushed marble. This stucco is used to make all kinds of decorative elements in architecture, such as foliage, festoons, etc., which are generally called stucco work. In buildings, it is mainly the cornices and ceilings of the rooms that are decorated with stucco work; however, it can also be applied to the outside, provided it is not too exposed to rain.
The stucco is soft, like clay, and can therefore be worked with small iron spatulas. When it is freshly mixed, which requires nothing more than mixing about half (or more or less) of freshly fired plaster with fresh masonry mortar, it is very soft and is gradually applied to the area where you want to apply ornamental rates. After a short time, it becomes somewhat stiffer, so that it can either be pressed into molds or formed in any other way as desired: during the work, however, it becomes stiffer and stiffer, so that it can finally be trimmed and scraped with various iron instruments to produce all kinds of fine decorative rates.
If it is also made diligently and carefully at a time when it can become completely hard before frost or rain passes over it, it is also very durable on the outside.
If it is also made diligently and carefully at a time when it can become completely hard before frost or rain passes over it, it is also very durable on the outside.
