The Feil dental practice is now in its third generation in the heart of St. Gallen and is continuously being modernized and expanded. We see ourselves as customer-oriented, motivated experts in high-quality, individual dental treatment. We offer you the entire spectrum of modern dentistry.
Our practice is run by federally certified dentists Dr. Nadine Feil and Dr. Thomas Feil (father and daughter) and is also supported by a qualified and motivated team of dental hygienists and dental assistants. Our modern practice, with its calm and friendly atmosphere, is centrally located in St. Gallen, just a 5-minute walk from the train station and market square.
Examination/consultation
We prepare all the necessary documentation, such as X-rays and models, in order to find the optimal solution for you during a consultation. We will, of course, provide you with a cost estimate.
Dental hygiene
Our dental hygienists—all of whom have Swiss diplomas—play an important role in every treatment.
Cerec
High-quality fillings and crowns are milled directly from a ceramic block after an optical impression (scan). In most cases, the parts are inserted during the same appointment. The advantage for you: no unpleasant impressions are necessary, and it is more cost-effective than having them made in a technical laboratory.
Digital X-rays, 3D X-rays
Computer-assisted digital X-rays to reduce radiation exposure and optimize diagnostics. DVT (digital volume tomography) is a three-dimensional imaging technique for the mouth, jaw, and facial region.
Implant
Titanium or ceramic implants that are inserted 10 to 14 mm deep into the jaw at the site of a missing tooth. Implants are one of the most durable dental treatment options, with the advantage that the denture does not have to be attached to the adjacent teeth, but is anchored in the bone like a natural tooth. We use the proven Straumann product line.
Bleaching / Whitening
These terms are used to describe the whitening of natural teeth. You can choose between "home bleaching," which requires several applications at home, or "power bleaching" in our dental practice, which achieves lasting results in a single session using the state-of-the-art Philips ZOOM procedure.
Emergencies
Appointments are reserved for emergencies every day at our dental practice. Please give us a quick call beforehand. For information on what to do in the event of an accident, please see the "Emergency" menu item on our website: What to do in an emergency?
Surgery
If dental surgery is necessary, we strive to perform gentle and painless procedures. Skill, experience, and modern equipment shorten treatment time and improve wound healing.
Recession coverage
Recession coverage is a complex procedure in which lost gum tissue is replaced at the neck of the tooth. This procedure closes the gaps and thus significantly improves tooth and gum health. It also reduces tooth sensitivity.
Periodontal surgery
If residual pockets remain after the first phase of periodontal treatment, surgical intervention may be necessary to remove these pockets of debris.
Veneers
These are wafer-thin, stable ceramic veneers that are bonded to the front teeth for aesthetic optimization. The treatment is gentle on the tooth structure because only minimal grinding of the enamel is required. Slight misalignments, unsatisfactory tooth colors, and gaps between teeth are corrected.
Conservative treatment
Composite, also known as plastic fillings, are tooth-colored, durable, and relatively inexpensive restorations for small and medium-sized defects. This filling therapy is also called conservative or restorative therapy.
