Grown up in Sisakat Thailand, I came to Switzerland at the age of 15. After a professional reorientation, I completed my training in Thai massage at the renowned "Thai Traditional Medicine Association" (near Bankok) in 2013. I then gained several years of professional experience in Thailand and Switzerland.

My great passion and joy for helping people and contributing to their health with massages and tips led me to set up the Thai Massage Temple in St.Gallen.

Traditional Thai massage

The traditional Thai massage TTM "Nua" has roots that go way back in the history of healing treatments. The origins of traditional Thai massage lie in India and can be traced back to around 2500 years ago. The North Indian doctor Jivaka Kumar Bhaccha is regarded as the founder of Thai massage practices. He was the personal physician of the Magadha king Bimbisara and Bimbisara and a contemporary of Buddha.

Jivaka Kumar Bhaccha is still revered in Thailand today as the father of medicine. Indian massage practices arrived in Thailand more than 500 years ago and were further developed by healer monks at the royal court. In 1832, King Rama III had centuries-old medical texts carved in stone at the Wat Po monastery in Bangkok. These ancient texts were held in high esteem and were revered in a similar way to Buddhist scriptures. Wat Po Monastery is still home to the most recognized school for traditional Thai massage today.

Our approach

1. Components include stretching positions, stretching movements, joint mobilization and pressure point massage. It is also known as passive yoga.

3. Relieves tension, improves circulation and supports the body's self-healing powers.
    

4. It is often used to treat: Headaches, inner restlessness, stomach complaints, dizziness, tinnitus and sleep disorders.
    

5. The oxygen supply to the muscles, skin and connective tissue is stimulated and strengthened. Through the harmonious interaction of calm and flowing movements and the alternation of tension and relaxation, the body can enter a state of deep relaxation and initiate and accelerate the recovery process.
    

6. Thai massage can be used preventively against cardiovascular diseases, burnout syndrome, obesity, depression and concentration disorders.
    

7. Sportspeople experience better regeneration, stronger blood circulation, which leads to a faster and better supply of nutrients to the muscles.
