What to do in emergency situations

Your family doctor is the first point of contact for all emergency consultations, as they know your medical history in detail and will decide with you whether further diagnostics or treatment in hospital is necessary and when this should take place. If your GP or their deputy is not available, we will be happy to help you at any time in emergency situations.

If possible, it is always advisable to call the emergency department in advance to ensure fast and efficient emergency care and avoid long waiting times.

Our practice assistant will first take your personal details and connect you directly to the emergency doctor in complex cases.

In life-threatening situations, you can request help via the official emergency number 144 .

Please bring this with you to the emergency

- Insurance card

- List of medication and medication in original packaging

- Allergy passport, blood group card, marcoumarin card and diabetes booklet (if available)
