In 1972, Josef Pargger leased the Winkelried Garage in Stans and was able to buy it six years later. In the same year, he rented the Auto-Center Rex from his former boss Fritz Niederberger. (today's Ochsner Sport in Stans).

The year 1978 is also significant because in the same year his son Christoph Pargger (today's owner) joined his father's business after completing his apprenticeship at Auto Koch AG. He also brought with him the young Beckenried native Werner Amstad, who had worked at Auto-Center Rex and had been in charge of the second business in Niederdorf as workshop manager for many years. After completing their apprenticeships, the two young car mechanics continued to devote themselves to further training. Christoph Pargger passed his master craftsman's examination in 1983 and was also an examiner for the final apprenticeship exams until 2010.

In 1996, senior boss Josef Pargger handed over the two garages to his son. Almost ten years later, the ground was broken for a new, larger garage in a perfect location at a traffic junction in the canton of Nidwalden. This modern facility was built and equipped within a year, enabling the move from Auto-Center Rex to Riedenmatt 5 in 2006.

New growth and process optimization then led to the new premises at Riedenmatt 5 being extended in spring 2011. An additional workshop and showroom were set up on the second floor. Today's flagship company was completed in January 2012.
