A home for people with dementia requires security, warmth, peace and quiet - and yet motivation to remain active. However, safety and orientation are also very important

This means that the design of the rooms should radiate a non-verbal sense of home.

This was implemented as follows:
Dark oak flooring - evokes a sense of groundedness and creates a feeling of security.

Consistent color flow on the walls - activates to move, gives warmth and well-being.

Lighting - sufficient light,
that does not cast shadows and radiates calm.

Textiles - good glare protection.

The decor of the curtains, color-coordinated with the color tones on the walls, is only at the eye level of the residents; gives the room a sense of security.
