Heimat is a strong brand for indulgence and lifestyle products made exclusively from local raw materials. We use hemp, tobacco, peppermint, camomile and many other plants from Swiss cultivation. We are convinced that responsible people know what is good for them - and what is not. That's why we offer products ranging from cigarettes and hemp flowers to teas that bring pleasure and do good: first for the body, then for the soul - and sometimes for both.  

The Swiss hemp pioneers

The home products are manufactured by Pada Switzerland, a company founded in 2024 that emerged from the start-up Koch & Gsell. In 2017, the company landed a coup: it launched the world's first tobacco hemp cigarette on the market, causing an international sensation. This was followed in summer 2019 by Europe's first industrially produced pre-roll made from pure hemp in cigarette form. As hemp cannot be processed like tobacco due to the resin it contains, these products are technically innovative. Pada Switzerland has patented the processes used to manufacture the products.

Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of over 100 compounds from the hemp plant. CBD interacts with the body's own endocannabinoid system. The endocannabinoid system is part of the nervous system and includes the cannabinoid receptors. The endocannabinoid system plays an important role in maintaining internal balance. It influences mood, the immune system, the sleep cycle, metabolism and the cardiovascular system. The specific impact of the positive effect of CBD is the subject of various medical studies.
