Storage heaters are wood-burning stoves in which most of the heat released by the fire is temporarily stored in ceramic masses and then released into the room. This heat is then released back into the room over several hours as pleasant, long-wave heat radiation. The exterior design can be plastered, tiled, or finished with suitable natural stones. Several compact storage heaters with heat-resistant concrete surfaces are also available. It is also possible to install a heat exchanger that releases heat into the entire living space via a hydraulic system.
For a small fire in the kitchen, which can be used for cooking and to warm the bench in the living room. It is also possible to transfer the heat to the living space using hydraulics.
With a fireplace, the focus is on enjoying the visual pleasure of the fire. The heat is quickly transferred to the room via the relatively large viewing window. Depending on requirements and customer preferences, the outer body of the fireplace can also be heated for a few hours.
The tunnel stove is positioned within a house so that it can be operated from two sides. It acts as a room divider or room designer and, thanks to its visible fire, can be enjoyed from both sides. It also emits heat on both sides.
Heating technology & combustion control
Regardless of the design, we are able to use boiler or absorber technology to temporarily store some of the heat released by the stove or transfer it directly to radiators or underfloor heating surfaces. Of course, it is also possible to combine this with solar technology or connect it to existing heating systems using water technology.
