The Spitex Association Sursee and Surroundings employs around 50 people in around 26 full-time positions. It works with 3 teams. 2 of these teams work on an interdisciplinary basis and are responsible for different catchment areas. These teams consist of qualified nurses, SRC assistants, qualified home nurses, housekeepers and home helpers. The 3rd team is the psychiatry team. It consists of four psychiatric nurses. Together they cover the entire association area and also carry out needs assessments for external Spitex associations that do not have suitable assessors on staff. Other employees of the Spitex Association Sursee and Surroundings are the drivers of the meal service, as well as the managing director and two administrative employees.

The Spitex Association Sursee and Surroundings is also a training company. We are currently training 4 trainee healthcare specialists and one student nursing specialist HF from Sursee Hospital is in her internship year with us.
