In 1961, my father, Lauber Josef, founded the company under his own name. This was purely a tiling business.

In 1994, I, Lauber Marcel, took over my father's company "Lauber Josef" and renamed it "Lauber Marcel".

As I was also trained as a stove builder as well as a tiler and obtained my federal diploma as a master stove builder in 1990, the company was expanded to include stove building work.

In 2005, the name "Lauber Marcel" was changed to opla.

January 2012 Conversion from a sole proprietorship to a limited company.

Today, our company employs 10 - 12 people (seasonal) and 2 - 3 apprentices. Our services include slab work and exceptional natural stone work. Our aim is to provide high-quality work in order to fulfill every customer request within the framework of legal and technical feasibility.
