History

1961
Giuseppe Cattori founds Sara SA. Initial activity with workshop for repairing agricultural machinery.

1964
Begins production of metal office furniture.

1970-1995
Multiple expansions are carried out, and from the initial 1000 m² to 5000 m². Volumes increase and the need to renew the machine park is accentuated with new investments such as: punching machine with automatic unloading and loading, automatic punching robot, powder coating plant.

2001
Sara SA obtains ISO9001; 2000 certification confirming the qualities of processes, products and human capital.

2003
Implementation of a new integrated computer management system for processing offers, orders, invoices and complete management of the production flow.

2004
Installation of a new SALVAGNINI line for sheet metal processing consisting of: warehouse with automatic loading, punching machine, panelizer.

2005
The product development department is equipped with a new 3D CAD programming system.

2006
A new Board of Directors and Management is appointed to introduce a future-oriented philosophy and modern strategies.

Manufacturing and offering quality metal office furniture at attractive prices has been Sara sa's goal since its inception in 1962.

Sara SA over these years has developed and improved production to meet the needs of customers, others to mature a sensitivity to the environment that has directed Sara SA to the use of increasingly environmentally friendly and easily recyclable materials.
