About us

For 50 years...

In the spring of 1973, Werner Hodler founded a graphic design studio in Thun. The studio focuses on framing, bookbinding, and calligraphy.

 

After moving twice, the newly acquired and renovated house at Freienhofgasse 14 was ready to move into in 1981.

 

Markus Hodler has been the managing director of Atelier & Kunstgalerie Hodler GmbH, which was founded in the same year, since 1998. In 2005, the business premises underwent extensive renovation following flood damage and were expanded to include an art gallery.

 

In mid-October 2008, the company moved to new business premises in Hohmadpark in Thun. The new store offers excellent working conditions, an enlarged sales area, and an integrated art gallery.
