Unique in Switzerland: three golf courses with a total of 36 holes. A 9-hole course with 4 par-3 and 5 par-4 holes and wonderful views. A pitch+putt course, also with 9 holes, and the unique 18-hole putting course.
Close to the city – practically in the middle of town:
It takes just 5 minutes by car to get from Thun city center to the golf course. It takes only 2 minutes from the Thun-Süd motorway exit. Save time for your relaxation. You can also reach our facilities easily and quickly by public transport.
Our facility
36 holes of unique playing and training pleasure
Golf Thunersee consists of the following excellent facilities, whether for playing or training:
Our group offers
The Golf Club Thunersee has a variety of different golf facilities that are not offered at any other golf course in Switzerland. In addition to a driving range with a training facility for the "short game" and a "normal" 9-hole course, we have two other facilities that are ideal for group and club outings:
- an 18-hole championship putting course (unique in Switzerland) and
- a 9-hole pitch & putt course
And the best thing about it is that after just a short 30-minute theoretical introduction, not only "golf pros" but also "non-golfers" and "golf beginners" can play tournaments on these courses. Be inspired by the program suggestions below...
We would also be happy to put together a customized program for your personal event.
Welcome to the Thunersee Golf Club
The Thunersee Golf Club is responsible for organizing and running tournaments on all our courses. During the main season (April–October), fun and handicap tournaments are held regularly, which are also open to guests.
In addition to the sporting aspect, the social aspect is also an important cornerstone of our club life. Special tournaments with a fun character and a cozy get-together afterwards or even during the round are therefore almost a tradition in our club's golf season.
The club currently has around 500 members, divided into different sections: ladies, seniors, juniors, and active members.
You can find a description of the sections (ladies, seniors, juniors) and the current annual calendar with planned activities on the relevant pages of this website.
