F. Zaugg AG Kälte + Klima

The company was founded on March 1, 1968, by Fritz Zaugg Senior. Ten years later, it was converted into a public limited company. In 1992, management of f. zaugg ag was passed on to the second generation. In 2003, the company moved to its new premises at Bierigutstrasse 22 in Thun.

We are a company that is managed according to modern principles. Our management style is based on honesty, team spirit, and fairness. We invest in the future and value serious apprenticeship training. We provide our future professionals with a wealth of knowledge and practical experience.
A balanced business result secures our social function as a company and thus the jobs in our region.

In today's world, it is important to look ahead and create the conditions for sustainable success and to be able to respond even better to the needs of our customers.
For this reason, we joined Kältering in 2014.
Kältering brings together independent, regionally based refrigeration companies, some of which have over 100 years of experience in the industry.
The Kältering Group keeps pace with developments and can therefore pass on technical and ecological improvements to its customers at an earlier stage. This is particularly important today, at a time when everything is moving faster and faster. It enables us to continue to offer you innovative, state-of-the-art refrigeration systems. In addition, synergies can be exploited in the areas of administration and training and further education.

We continue to build on our own strengths, but at the same time we are prepared for the challenges of the future, and you as our customer can benefit from this. With this in mind, we have also invested in our new building in Bierigut in Thun!

Since moving to Bierigut in 2003, f. zaugg ag Kälte + Klima, which has specialized in the manufacture, installation, and commissioning of energy-efficient refrigeration systems, air conditioning systems, and heat pumps for more than 50 years, has grown steadily.
The company now employs over 80 people and trains apprentices to become refrigeration system designers. It also trains the majority of refrigeration system installers in Switzerland, who consistently achieve outstanding results. (At the Swiss Professional Championships, they not only won bronze in 2018, but also gold in 2022 and 2014).
Growth also involves structural and organizational adjustments. After thorough consideration, it was decided to remain at the current strategically optimal location in Thun, and thanks to an extension and energy-efficient renovation of the building, we can now work in a modern and functional environment.
The expansion included a larger workshop area, a covered driveway, offices, and storage rooms.
