Ceramics

Ceramic floors are in vogue. The natural product offers an immense variety of shapes and colors.

Parquet

Parquet floors radiate warmth and comfort and help to regulate the room climate. Parquet is insensitive to mechanical influences and if something does happen, the top layer can simply be sanded down and re-varnished or oiled. Parquet is sensitive to water and should only be cleaned with a damp cloth. The purchase price is higher than for other materials, but this is offset by the long service life.

Laminate

Laminate flooring is very hard-wearing and also relatively resistant to dirt. Minor damage can be repaired very easily, making it inexpensive to maintain. Laminate flooring is also characterized by a very good price/performance ratio. As the thermal insulation of laminate is relatively low, underfloor heating is recommended

Cork flooring has excellent thermal and impact sound insulation. Cork has a warm and calm appearance and is very pleasant to walk on. It is also robust and hard-wearing. If the material is sealed, it can also be used in wet areas. Cork is available in countless colors and a wide variety of textures.

PVC is the abbreviation for amopher thermostatic plastic. The material is very inexpensive and non-slip and can be used in many different ways. Opinions differ on PVC, some love the material because it is so easy to clean, others reject the material for aesthetic reasons. PVC is certainly well suited for commercial and public buildings.

Carpet

Carpets are ideal for living spaces as they have very good thermal insulation and impact sound insulation. Wool carpets, for example, are pleasant to walk on, robust and remove excess moisture from the room. Carpets require a relatively high level of care; synthetic carpets in particular are electrostatically charged and therefore attract dust. Steiger floor coverings also have special carpets for allergy sufferers.

Cleaning and maintenance

Over the years, floor coverings age and dirt settles on them or eats into them. Or the wrong cleaning products have been used. We can provide a remedy:

Afterwards, the old floor looks like new again if the wrong cleaning agents  were used, remove cement residue from new floors

• Sealing

Old and new floors can be sealed to protect them from permanent dirt and wear damage.
