Description
The company was founded by Hans Schön and Walter Zimmerli under the company name "Schön + Zimmerli" in 1947. After the death of Walter Zimmerli in 1967, the company was continued by Hans Schön as a sole proprietorship and converted into a public limited company in 1968. From 1979, the company was managed by the founder's son, Hans-Rudolf Schön, until 2013 and since 1994, the third generation has been working in the company with his son Thomas, the new owner from 2014.

With currently 12 employees, all relevant building services work in the fields of plumbing and heating is carried out in new builds and conversions. A well-organized repair service helps with small and large breakdowns. The execution of gas installations is just as much a part of the company's activities as the planning and project management of entire systems.

Sanitary systems, solar systems, rainwater harvesting
We plan and install cold and hot water systems, waste water, gas and compressed air systems in buildings (for new builds, conversions, refurbishments and renovations). We are also responsible for installing the associated appliances and fittings. We carry out maintenance and servicing work as well as repairs to sanitary facilities.
 
Heating systems
Gas, oil, solar, heat pumps, pellets - we are specialists in heating systems and other heating installations for new builds and conversions, refurbishments, renovations or replacements. We plan and install system components such as boilers or heat pumps, circulation pumps, regulating and measuring devices as well as various heating systems (radiator and panel heating systems, district heating systems, heating systems for hot water). We advise our customers on renewable energy technologies such as solar energy and heat recovery systems.
