Now, with the founding of A+B Flachdach AG in Basel, the son, Andreas Alt, is continuing the tradition of Jürg Alt's Asphalt + Baumaterial AG, founded in 1924, in the 3rd generation and currently employs 25 people.

• BITUMINOUS SEALINGS

Application: Flat roofs, terraces, basements, car garages, groundwater waterproofing, bridge slabs, canal covers, flat roof greening.
Material: Polymer bitumen waterproofing membranes, bonded or welded, usually in two layers.

• HEAT INSULATION

Application: Flat roofs, terraces, basements, floors
Material: Various materials such as polyurethane, polystyrene, rock wool or sight glass in various thicknesses, designs such as pitched roofs.

• SOILINGS FOR TERRACES

Application: Terraces, flat roofs, walkways, pergolas, canopies, entrances
Material: Cement slabs on split or pedestal supports, in various surface structures, colors and dimensions. Cement or rubber granulate interlocking blocks on chippings. Drainage and protective layers made of gravel, fleece or rubber mats, cement fiber boards.

Application: Extensive and intensive greening for flat roofs, terraces, cellars and garage ceilings.
Material: As protective and weighting coverings on our waterproofing. Substrates, seeding and gravel coverings in various designs. Root protection and storage films, protective fleeces.

• SPENGLER WORK

Application: For all sealing systems, as a fastening, watertight finish or protective cover.
Material: Angled sheet, cover strips, flashings or crowns with all accessories such as: Drains, vapor pipes, edgings, channels and dilatations. Putty joints in various designs.

• PLASTIC SEALINGS

Application: Flat roofs, terraces, pond waterproofing, flat roof greening.
Material: Various plastic products, in various thicknesses, joints thermally or chemically welded, usually processed in a single layer.

• CAST ASPHALT COATINGS (MASTIX)

Application: Flat roofs, terraces, car garages, cellar floors, sidewalks, bridge waterproofing.
Material: Various thicknesses and hardnesses, coatings.
