In 1958, Walter Schmid and his wife founded the local electrical store "Walter Schmid, elektrotechnische Unternehmungen" at Langgasse 69 in St. Gallen. Schmid AG's headquarters are still located at this address today. We now employ a total of around 50 people at six locations, including around 10 apprentices.
Quality, competence, complex expertise, and appreciation of our employees have characterized Schmid throughout three generations. Our motivated specialists, who continuously learn how to use the latest technologies through training and further education, guarantee quality and sustainability for Schmid AG.
