In 1958, Walter Schmid and his wife founded the neighborhood electrical store "Walter Schmid, elektrotechnische Unternehmungen" at Langgasse 69 in St. Gallen. The headquarters of Schmid AG are still located at this address today. We now employ a total of around 50 people at 6 locations, including around 10 apprentices.
Quality, expertise, complex specialist knowledge and appreciation of our employees characterize the Schmid company across all 3 generations. Our motivated specialists, who continuously learn how to use the latest technologies through training and further education, are Schmid AG's guarantee of quality and sustainability.
