In our Schwägalp Alpine show dairy right next to the valley station, you can learn all the secrets of cheese production as well as lots of exciting facts about Alpine farming and the famous Appenzell cheese culture. Watch the cheesemaker at work and experience how delicious alpine milk products are made. The fresh products can be purchased in the store. The cheese dairy can be visited individually or on a guided tour. This tour is particularly recommended in the morning, when the milk is being processed in the cheese dairy.
