WHAT IS ASBESTOS

Asbestos, a natural fibrous material once valued for its many properties (thermal and acoustic insulation, mechanical strength, fire protection) has been totally banned since 1989.

The second leading source of occupational disease, asbestos nevertheless remains present in many residential buildings and industrial installations.

An asbestos diagnosis is mandatory
before work or demolition following the entry into force of THE NEW LAW CFST 6503/AMIANTE JANUARY 1, 2009 for all constructions built before 1991.
