CHAMPEL
CLUB HISTORY
The Champel Club
Welcome to the official website of the Geneva Champel Tennis Club.
The TC Genève Champel was founded in 1899 by a group of enthusiasts from the TC Genève Eaux-Vives, which they considered too "British."
The new club quickly found its identity, which was reinforced in 1912 with the construction of an indoor club on the Crêts-de-Champel.
Tennis fans enjoyed some great moments on the courts of TC Genève Champel with the arrival of some of the big names in tennis at the time, including the famous Henri Cochet.
In 1971, the club left Champel to move to its current location in Vessy. Today, in its sunny and relaxing setting, with its dynamic team and friendly atmosphere, TC Genève Champel is a century old and in great shape.
Tennis is our passion!
