PEM Provedimaint electric Val Müstair

The valley's own electricity supply company, Provedimaint Electric Val Müstair, was founded in 1955.

Our two hydropower plants, Muranzina and Chasseras, produce around 20 million kWh per year.

Over two thirds of the electricity produced remains in the southern Graubünden valley, the rest is fed into the upstream grid 

Four dedicated employees supply 750 households, or around 1,570 measuring points with reliable, valley-generated electricity thanks to state-of-the-art infrastructure. We also support the inhabitants of Val Müstair with measures to increase energy efficiency and alternative energies with a view to the future.
