The CAVE BONVIN alone symbolizes tradition and, through its vintages, the faithful expression of Valais terroir.

Gaston and Eric BONVIN run a family business founded in 1940 by their father and grandfather François BONVIN. 

You will find our Winery in the village of FLANTHEY (750 m.) on the Commune of LENS, in the center of Valais, between the towns of SION and SIERRE. 

We currently farm around 8 hectares of vines, all laid out on the hillside on the right bank of the Rhône, between St-Léonard and Sierre. All our wines come from this vineyard and carry the label "Les Coteaux de Sierre". 

60% of our production comes from red grape varieties (Pinot noir, Gamay, Humagne rouge, Cabernet Franc and Syrah) and 40% from white grape varieties (Chasselas, Rhin, Muscat, Humagne blanc, Pinot gris and Petite Arvine). 

Since 1996, we've also been developing the production of overripe wines with Petite Arvine flétri and barrel-aged Pinot noir flétri. The flagship of our production seems to be the CHELINOIR, a blend of 3 red grape varieties (Pinot noir, Humagne rouge and Syrah) also aged in barrels. 

For better quality control, our wines are aged exclusively with grapes produced by the family farm.
