Our principles and values

We want our children to mature into socially competent and happy adults. We are just one part of this building block. We act conscientiously and according to our knowledge of pedagogy. This is how we help children find their place.

We want our children to feel empowered and secure. Our affection and interest in the child is genuine. We respect each child's individual personality, support them in their strengths but also where they have weaknesses. The children should express their opinions and needs. We see it as our job to listen to them and respond to them. It is important to us that they learn to be considerate of each other.

Our parents

We see our childcare services as a complement to the family. A good relationship with the parents, characterized by mutual trust, benefits the child. We set goals together and hold regular assessments. Our parents should be reassured that their child is in good hands with us in every respect.

We promote a working atmosphere that is characterized by trust and mutual respect. All of our employees have solid training in education and/or management. We adapt our focus to the development of our time and attend at least one further training course every year.

We offer young people the opportunity to learn a challenging and varied apprenticeship at our institute or to complete a one-year internship in which their ideas and expectations of this demanding job are tested.

We value a management style based on partnership. Each of our team members sees themselves as part of the whole. We cooperate and take our social responsibility seriously.

Collaboration

The daycare center works together with the municipality of Volketswil, which grants us an operating license and reviews our work. It also provides subsidized places for the children. If necessary, we work together with the social welfare office, youth and family counseling, the school administration, playgroups, kindergartens, schools and other institutions in the family and supplementary school sector.
