Starlift AG

On April 1, 2001, Starlift AG took over the elevator sector from its predecessor company, PSM Prosermac AG. Today, Starlift AG is the largest provider of temporary elevator systems (construction elevators) in Switzerland. With its main office in Hegnau near Volketswil and bases in Zollikofen near Bern and Savigny near Lausanne, Starlift AG covers a large part of Switzerland, particularly in the rental business.

Material lifts

Material lifts are construction lifts with load platforms that are open at the top. They climb at a lifting speed of 24–30 m/sec. Machines built by the manufacturer purely as material lifts only have a control system at the base station.

Transport platforms (open)

Transport platforms are construction lifts with open load platforms. The transport platforms have two lifting speeds. 12 m/min as a passenger lift, controlled by a control unit in the load platform, and 24 m/min as a freight elevator, controlled by the call and retrieval control outside the load platform.

Transport platforms (closed)

Passenger elevators are construction elevators with closed cabins. Elevators with cabins have a control system in the cabin as well as a call and retrieval control system.
