Company history

After several years' experience in the wood sector and obtaining his CFC in carpentry, Hilaire Besse decided to turn to glass in the face of growing demand. Here are our company's milestones:

• 1971: Construction of a joinery workshop in Versegères.

• 1974: Hilaire Besse installs the first insulating glass units.

• 1978: The company ceases its joinery activity to focus exclusively on glass.

• 1980 - 1983: Hilaire obtains his glazier's CFC and hires his first employees.

• 1984: Purchase of a belt polisher.

• 1985: Construction of a hall, purchase of a cutting table and company move to Vollèges.

• 1990 - 1993: Purchase of a straight-line polisher and a double-headed drilling machine.

• 1994: Purchase of a washing machine.

• 2006: Expansion of the insulating glass warehouse on the east side.

• 2014: Expansion of the workshop on the north side and purchase of a Waterjet cutting machine.

• 2018: Purchase of a radio-controlled suction pad with a lifting capacity of 1200 kg.

Today, our company has 9 employees.
