4 hours Hand tools and small machines
Differences between hand saws and their applications
Maintaining and adjusting hand planes, examples of use
Use of chisels and safe handling
Sharpening chisels and plane irons
Use and handling of various other tools such as bevel gauges, marking gauges, reamers, and scribers
Jigsaw
Fret saw
Chop saw and miter saw
4 hours Small machines and stationary woodworking machines
Drill, hammer drill, cordless screwdriver
Sander, orbital sander
Hand planer
Hand router
Band saw
Table saw
Drill press
Stationary grinding machine (disc or belt sander)
Woodturning lathe
The time required for preparation together with the workshop supervisor is approx. 3 hours (corresponds to Course 3).
Course 3
3 hours
Instructions on the maintenance of the existing equipment so that the workshop supervisor can carry out minor maintenance independently.

If Course 1 is held within a reasonable period of time, Course 3 can be credited as preparation and is included in the price.
The course content will be tailored to the tools available and the needs of the participants. The above content is only a suggestion and can be changed to suit individual requirements.
The number of participants must be adjusted depending on the workshop space, but is limited to a maximum of 15 participants.
Individual costs for the required materials are added to the course fees. These can be provided by the school or obtained through me. Please contact me if you have any further questions or requests.
All courses are conducted exclusively with the equipment available at the school. The condition of the tools will be checked during preparation and any necessary measures will be discussed.
The school is responsible for ensuring that the equipment is in perfect condition.

About me:
In 2000, I successfully completed my apprenticeship as a carpenter.
Since then, I have completed various further training courses, including those for carpenter machinist and CNC machinist. I also trained as a vocational trainer and was responsible for apprentices in the carpentry business.
In the summer of 2019, I completed the SVEB certificate course for adult educators at the Lernwerkstatt Olten.
Since 2015, I have been working as a woodworking teacher at middle and high school level.
