Our group focuses primarily on therapeutic areas such as ophthalmology, rheumatology, and neurology. We are continuously developing our products through clinical research and our close dialogue with the medical community and patients. TRB's particular expertise lies primarily in the production, packaging, and therapeutic applications of hyaluronic acid. This expertise is reflected in our broad portfolio of products and related patents. Our Swiss representative, TRB CHEMEDICA SA, is located in Vouvry, Valais. Here, two production units and a research and development department work in close collaboration. It is also here that the entire OSTENIL® product range is manufactured.

TRB CHEMEDICA SA's offering on the Swiss market includes ophthalmology with VISMED® – hyaluronic acid-based eye drops. Thanks to their unique composition, these drops have set a new standard and have become the treatment of choice for dry eyes. In orthopedics, TRB CHEMEDICA SA has set new standards with the OSTENIL® product range – injections for the treatment of degenerative and traumatic joint disorders such as osteoarthritis. In Switzerland, Ostenil products were the first products containing hyaluronic acid obtained by biofermentation to be approved for intra-articular use in all synovial joints. The OSTENIL® brand has been recognized for 20 years for its high efficacy and good tolerance.
