The history of Delta Garage Wädenswil AG.

How did it all begin? Well, that was in 1974, when Alcide Zanetti was a young car mechanic from the Valle di Poschiavo. Long before the region became known in Switzerland for its wines, he was looking for a job in the canton of Zurich.

Delta Garage Wädenswil AG had been founded just one year earlier, in 1973, by Anton Flury, and so after just one year he hired Alcide Zanetti as a car mechanic.

When, almost exactly twenty years later, in 1994, Anton Flury was looking for a successor, he didn't have to look far. No one knew the business as well as Alcide Zanetti. So the first car mechanic took over Delta Garage Wädenswil AG together with his wife, Lydia Zanetti-Fuchs. Four years later, their daughter Franzisca Talenta-Zanetti joined them. In 1999, when his son Roberto Zanetti joined the company, Delta Garage in Wädenswil became a real family business.

The Zanetti family now employs seven people, including several apprentices.
