Swiss National Day is also the birthday of Herrmann AG: on August 1, 1946, Ernst and Fanny Herrmann founded a workshop for precision mechanics in Walzenhausen above Lake Constance. Shortly afterwards, they began experimenting with plastics and bought their first injection molding machine. A good seven decades and eight stages of expansion later, Herrmann AG is a globally respected family business in its second generation with around 70 employees, its own development department and toolmaking for every order.
