The Wolfer winery is located on the Ottenberg, nestled in the vineyards of the Bründlerberg.
The unobstructed view over the Thur valley and the foothills of the Alps as far as the Säntis is impressive at any time of year. Martin Wolfer says thoughtfully: "I've always loved this place: the sun with its play of colors, the wildly climbing vines and the mysterious wine cellar. A little paradise that I look after."
The total area under vines is 9.4 hectares. Two thirds of this is in the Bründlerberg and one third in the Waidli and Bachtobel vineyards on the western Ottenberg.

Pinot Noir grapes grow on around 60% of the vineyard area, followed by Müller-Thurgau, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris and Chardonnay.

Martin Wolfer and his team have been managing the winery since 2012.
With initiative, care and perseverance, he has succeeded in further developing the quality of the wines. According to the Vinum magazine's wine guide and the Gault&Millau restaurant guide, the Wolfer winery is one of the 150 best Swiss wineries and is a member of the renowned Mémoire des Vins Suisses.
