Münchwilen has around 5,800 inhabitants and is located between Winterthur and St. Gallen in the southern part of Thurgau. The municipal area covers an area of 776 hectares.

Due to its direct highway connection, Münchwilen is exceptionally well connected. We also have a half-hourly, sometimes even quarter-hourly train service to the heart of the two regional centers of Wil and Frauenfeld.

Münchwilen is a family-friendly municipality. Liveable residential areas, active club life and educational opportunities with local lower and upper schools await you. Secondary and vocational schools are located in the immediate vicinity.
