As the oldest inn in Switzerland, we have dedicated ourselves to cultivating the pleasures of the table in a unique setting. Our gastronomy is a language with which we want to express harmony, creativity, happiness, beauty, magic and humor. When we do something for our guests, we do it innovatively, emotionally, naturally, lively and with enthusiasm. We would like to introduce you to our venues:

Ritter Heinrich Saal...
The banquet hall on the second floor of the hotel was named after Baron Heinrich II.

of Rapperswil, who once bought the estates in Wettingen and the patronage rights
of the church in 1220 and donated them to the Cistercian abbey of Salem Monastery in the Lake Constance region.

This was done out of gratitude because he was miraculously rescued from distress at sea
during one of his crusades. Faithfully restored, the Ritter Heinrich Saal is the ideal
location for wedding celebrations and other social gatherings as well as seminars.
The hall offers space for up to 80 people.

In the Stella Maris Stube...
In the Stella Maris Stube you can dine not only exquisitely but also in a dignified ambience.
The restaurant offers space for a maximum of 80 people and can be hired exclusively for your event
.


The Abt Konrad Stube...
is distinguished by its elegance, creating a refined and intimate ambience. A large chandelier
and historical pictures adorn the room. The Abt Konrad Stube is the perfect
room for smaller celebrations, meetings and seminars for up to 25 people.

Löwensäle:

After the renovation, the historic Löwenscheune and the adjoining extension are at their best.

From a distance, the building appears sharply cut and abstract, but as you get closer, the dark robe reveals its all-over ornamentation: punched-in flower and leaf motifs designed by the artist
Roland Herzog. The rooms are stylishly furnished with design elements and impress with their simple elegance.

The Löwensaal on the first floor is suitable for events for up to 180 people. In fine weather, you can enjoy an aperitif in the adjoining garden.

The Löwensaal on the second floor...
has a capacity for up to 300 people.
Weddings, birthday parties, company events, seminars and information events take place under the impressive ceiling construction.

The summer refectory, also known as the assembly hall...
is located on the premises of Wettingen Abbey just a few steps away from the inn.
The festive, bright hall with its high stained glass windows was once used by the monks as a dining room. It is suitable for larger events, especially lectures, concerts etc. for up to 200 people.

Also known as the Brudersaal...
is located on the premises of Wettingen Abbey, just a few steps away from the inn. The skillful combination of original building fabric and modern architectural elements gives the Brudersaal its unique charm. It can accommodate up to 150 people.

Apéro places...
In the middle of the unique historical backdrop of the monastery peninsula you will find the cozy places
for your open-air event! Whether a company dinner, wedding aperitif or family celebration, your event will be an unforgettable experience in this dreamlike setting.

Our wine cellar captivates with the uniqueness of the monastic architecture...
The oldest part of the Sternen dating back to 1254 allows you to immerse yourself in times long past,
when monasteries were not only used for prayer but also for worldly pleasures such as wine.

Plan your next aperitif within the historic walls. The wine cellar can accommodate up to 50 people for wine and culinary delights.
