As a vein specialist, Dr. Berwarth has many years of surgical experience in senior positions and has been working in modern phlebology (vein medicine) for more than 20 years. As a surgeon and phlebologist, she can offer the entire spectrum of vein therapies from a single source, from preliminary examinations to therapy and follow-up care.

The focus is on modern endovenous procedures, which can be performed under local anesthesia, are relatively painless, and can be carried out on an outpatient basis at the vein center. Patients are usually only unable to work for a few days.

If classic surgical procedures (surgical therapy) are indicated to remove varicose veins, these are performed on a semi-inpatient or inpatient basis in partner clinics.
