We work together with those responsible from various specialist areas of child and youth welfare and thus relieve the foster family. They can devote themselves fully to their everyday family life and living together with the children and young people entrusted to their care.

  Bussola crisis intervention is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for those affected and involved.

An organization for services in family care (DAF)

Bussola provides children, adolescents and young adults who cannot live in their traditional living environment in the short, medium or long term with a place to stay (home) in a host or foster family. The aim is to calm the situation and enable optimal planning for the future.

Crisis intervention for children and young people

We understand crisis intervention to mean various forms of professionally supported stays in a host or foster family. We distinguish between the terms "host family" for short-term measures, such as emergencies, time-outs or bridging the gap until a follow-up solution is found, and "foster family" for medium to long-term stays. For reasons of readability, we generally use the term "foster family" on our website.
