The Burg riding and training stable, which we opened in 2001, is a small, reputable riding facility in the central Töss Valley near Winterthur.

As competent professionals with many years of experience, we offer professional and versatile training and further education for horses and riders at our family-run business.

Fun, commitment, perseverance and patience are required for success. We are happy to support you in achieving your personal sporting goals.

Riding holidays

During the spring, summer and fall vacations, we offer educational and entertaining riding vacations for children and young people.

The children are warmly welcomed into our family and looked after around the clock. They sleep in a shared room in the house and we enjoy meals together, and each course member is given a horse or pony to groom and care for throughout the week of the vacation. This creates a deep emotional relationship between child and horse, and they also learn to take responsibility.

Child training 

Children can attend a 3-hour theory course on individual mornings or afternoons. The individual courses each cover a specific topic, enabling children to acquire a general knowledge of horses and their environment.
After each course attended, you will receive a badge from the Swiss Equestrian Sports Federation (SVPS).

Leading rein lessons  

The youngest horse fans (from the age of 3) have the opportunity to experience wonderful moments with lovely ponies

We create a valuable time of encounter between child and horse. Through this encounter, the child learns to correctly interpret the horse's expressive behavior and to pay attention to the horse's language. This stimulates their ability to observe and awakens their understanding of the other living creature.

Riding lessons

Our offer includes level-appropriate lessons in dressage and jumping for beginners and advanced riders, children and adults on our trained school horses and ponies or on your own horse.
